Every new goods vehicle and PSV operator licence published as granted in the weekly Applications and Decisions and Notices and Proceedings, month by month since January 2026. Companies by name, each linked to the GOV.UK notice it came from.

About this list
A new operator licence is granted by the Traffic Commissioner for the traffic area where the operator keeps its vehicles. Each grant is printed in that area’s weekly Applications and Decisions (goods vehicles) or Notices and Proceedings (buses and coaches). We read every issue and list each grant once, in the month it was published.
A grant does not always mean the licence is in use yet: the holder must pay the issue fee first, and a grant the holder does not take up is published later as “grant not taken up”. An issued licence then appears in the DVSA operator licence file, where its page here shows status, vehicles and operating centres.
Month pages are indexed for search when they name at least 10 companies. Suppliers to new operators (leasing, insurance, telematics, fuel cards, compliance) use these lists to find new hauliers; the CSV and the Atom feed carry the same named rows.
