Monitoring · opening soon
Know when a haulier you use changes
You check a haulier’s licence once, at onboarding. Between then and the next audit, it can be curtailed, suspended or drop out of the file. Monitoring reads every new DVSA file and tells you what changed for the operators on your list.

How it works
- File N
We read each DVSA file
DVSA publishes the operator licence file weekly at best. We read it, check it and keep a dated copy. The newest we hold is dated 7 September 2026.
- File N + 1
We compare it with the one before
For every licence on your list: status, licence type, vehicles and trailers authorised, operating centres, continuation date and name.
- Diff
We record what changed
Each change is stored with its before and after values and the dates of both files. Nothing is inferred: a licence missing from a file is shown as “not in the file”, not “revoked”.
- Email
You get one email per file
Only when something on your list changed. Each row links to the licence, so you can decide what to do.
What monitoring includes
Watchlist
Add hauliers by licence number, company number or name, one at a time or as a list.
Change alerts
One email per new DVSA file, listing each change with its before and after values.
Bulk list check
Upload a spreadsheet of suppliers and see every licence's status against the latest file.
Dated evidence
Export what the file said, with its date and the time you checked, for your audit trail.
What it is and what it is not
Monitoring is a fast way to notice changes in the published DVSA file. It is not the official register. When a change matters to a decision, confirm it with the Office of the Traffic Commissioner or the operator.
Alerts follow the DVSA publishing schedule, so they are as current as the latest file, not as current as the register itself. Every alert names the file dates it compares.
